Terms & Conditions

BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY.

1. About DoneSE

DoneSE is a Making Tax Digital (MTD) software service operated by DoneLabs Ltd (UK Company 17056937). We enable sole traders to connect HMRC and bank accounts, categorise transactions, and submit quarterly ITSA returns.

2. Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years of age and a UK resident.
  • Be a sole trader subject to Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (ITSA).
  • Have a valid Government Gateway account and National Insurance Number.
  • Have the legal authority to submit tax information on your own behalf.

3. The Service

DoneSE provides:

  • HMRC connection via OAuth 2.0 for quarterly MTD submissions.
  • Read-only Bank connections via TrueLayer open banking.
  • Automated categorisation tools for SE income and allowable expenses.
  • Submission history and HMRC correlation ID records.

4. Accountant Access

DoneSE allows you to connect your account to a registered accountant's practice via a practice code. By doing so, you authorise DoneLabs Ltd to share your transaction data, submission history, and tax figures with that accountant via DoneTax+.

You remain solely responsible for verifying your accountant's identity before sharing access. You may revoke accountant access at any time. DoneLabs Ltd accepts no liability for actions taken by your accountant using your shared data.

5. Limitations & Responsibility

DoneSE is a software tool, not a tax adviser, accountant, or financial adviser.

You remain legally responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted to HMRC. DoneSE automates submissions based solely on your categorisations. Consult a qualified tax professional for specific tax advice.

6. Subscription & Payment

DoneSE is available on Monthly (£4.99) and Annual (£39.99) plans. Payments are processed via Stripe.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods. Founding pricing is locked while your subscription remains active.

7. Liability

DoneLabs Ltd is not liable for HMRC penalties, interest, or charges arising from inaccurate submissions, or for losses arising from HMRC system failures.

Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the 12-month period preceding any claim. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
